Jazz Pioneer/Saint

John Coltrane’s crazy technical musicianship set the standard for many aspiring jazz musicians after him. His style is quite opposite to Miles Davis. No space for you.

In addition, he is a saint. I mean he still had his fair share of drugs and alcohol as a Bebop jazz musician, but I think the point here is his spirituality through music. His album, A Love Supreme is his representation of a spiritual journey through Acknowledgement, Resolution, Pursuance and Psalm.
